The Social Association for Development of Afghanistan (SADA) is a non-political, not-for-profit and non-governmental and sectarian organization with accreditation from the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan and having membership with ACBAR. The organization, since its establishment in 1994, has been working and implemented several projects in Education, Health, Infrastructure, Agriculture, Community-Development, and other social welfare activities in Afghanistan.
SADA is continuously improving its proposal writing and program development in order to be able to develop a strong network of professional and technical team to design and deliver humanitarian projects to communities who are in critical need now than any other time in the past. In SADA, our key expertise and focus areas of work includes Education, Health & Hygiene; Child Protection; Human Rights, IDPs, Returnees, Food and Nonfood items distribution. SADA is searching for an experienced Proposal Writer and Program Development Officer to join our team. The Proposal Writer and Program Development Officer is responsible to gather information to prepare proposals in accordance with SADA Country Director guidelines as well as obtaining approval before submitting proposals to donors. The position holder will work from his/her home for the duration of three months as probationary period. While working from home, the candidate will receive a net salary of 70,000 AFN per month. After successful probationary period, s/he will be invited to Afghanistan and will be stationed in SADA main office at Kabul. The exact salary, accommodation and other allowances will be discussed during the interview, which will be applicable after successful probationary period. SADA does not restrict the number of working hours, however, at least one proposal should be developed within 20 days. Along with experience, qualification and education of the candidate, the personality and the working sympathy with the community in Afghanistan is of highest importance to SADA.

Develop training modules and curriculum, materials for training of the ALC teachers and project social organizers and field supervisors.
Conduct training, workshop, seminars and prepare reports of all events.
Support SADA team on awareness rising on Accelerated Learning Programme.
Work with SADA team and support CBS/ALC programme and capacity building of teachers on quick learning.
Setting Training plan according to the overall plan of Training Section
Deliver impact reports, progress reports and maintaining reports which are received from field supervisors.
Conduct need assessment of targeted groups in the districts on community based/accelerated learning.
Assist the programs in training related matters both ToTs and ALC teachers’ orientation/refresher training.
Preparing monthly reports on the ongoing teaching and learning methodology and case studies on the ALC programme impact.
Supervise and monitor the accelerated learning centers on daily basis and report to the project manager.
Evaluate the capacity of the students and teaching methodology of the particular ALC.
Regularly conduct meetings with the Parents Teachers Associations for maintaining the planned achievements of the project.
Supervise the efficient distribution of the food items at the site and ensure the proper distribution of the Students’ entitlement and provide feedback to the project manager.
Assist in implementation of the plan of action, review achievements and constraints and provide feedback accordingly.
Report to the provincial coordinator the project progress and other setbacks if occurred during the project implementation.
Conduct random quizzes of the students’ capacity at the ALC classes.
Identify any apparent issue in the project and report them to the direct supervisor or to the general manager in his absence.
Perform other duties as required.
Need to visit sites at districts of Zabul Province once in a month (Arghandab, Shahjoy, Kakar and Daychopan)
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration

Social Association for Development of Afghanistan (SADA) is a non-governmental, non-for-profit and non-political Humanitarian and Development organization. SADA was founded in 1994 when Afghanistan was severely affected by internal war and access to any humanitarian facilities and services was practically debarred.
SADA was established with a vision of “To alleviate poverty and human sufferings to see educated, self-reliant, peaceful and developed Afghanistan” by enhancing access to quality and free education, improving health system, upgrading local agriculture & irrigation systems, increasing awareness around hygiene and sanitation, and advocating for the rights of women & children.
SADA has started its first operation in Kandahar province by implementing a UNOPS funded WASH project with the total fund of $12,657 in 1996. SADA gradually expanded its operations across the southern region by establishing partnerships with UNOPS, UNDP, UNWFP, UNICEF, UNHCR, Malala Fund, Street Child – Children in Crisis, GPE, JICA, Action Aid, ZOA Refugee Care, Royal Netherland Embassy, PRT and the government of Afghanistan.

Those projects have greatly contributed in improving the living conditions of hundreds of thousands needy people. SADA built up strong relationships with communities and gained a particular acceptance among the local people.
